Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has directly accused Israel of deliberately undermining Islamabad’s efforts to facilitate ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran, claiming that an Israeli attack on Tehran came precisely at the moment when both sides were prepared to come to the table.
Speaking publicly, Dar stated that Washington and Tehran had reached a stage where they were ready to sit down for talks a significant diplomatic breakthrough that Pakistan had been quietly working to broker when Israel’s strike on the Iranian capital disrupted the process entirely.
The accusation is explosive. If accurate, it means that Israel a close US ally took military action that directly contradicted and derailed American diplomatic efforts, raising profound questions about coordination, or the deliberate lack thereof, between Washington and Tel Aviv at a critical juncture.
